I began my real estate career working for Duke Realty Investments in 1994 as a leasing assistant and later as managing broker. I became an Illinois Licensed Real Estate Broker in 1997, and has continued managing, selling, and leasing local commercial properties during the past 14 years. I am a Decatur native and serve on the board of directors of Soyland Access to Independent Living.

I have been active in the Decatur real estate market since 1977, beginning my career leasing and managing commercial properties for Duke Realty Investments in Park 101. After leaving Duke as an Assistant Vice President, I worked for the LSA as director of development, until re-starting my real estate career. I am a lifelong Decatur resident and volunteer for St. Paul's Lutheran Church and the LSA. I hold the SRES (Senior Real Estate Specialist) designation.

I was born and raised in Decatur, Illinois. With my sister, two brothers, daughter, son, daughter-in-law, and two granddaughters all living in Decatur, my roots are firmly planted. At one point, my three siblings and I all relocated to other parts of the country--Indianapolis, New York, Peoria, and Minneapolis--but by the early 1980s, all four of us had returned home to raise our families. When my daughter, the youngest of my two children, left for college in 1998, I had been a single parent for nearly 16 years. With the day-to-day responsibility of raising two children behind me, I decided to work toward earning my real estate license. I joined the Glenda Williamson Realty team in 1999 as a licensed agent and soon discovered there was not a better mentor in the industry. When Glenda began talking about starting her own agency, I knew there was no way it could fail. Glenda has systems for top-notch customer service, sincere concern for customer satisfaction, and a reputation of being honest and hard working for her clients. I am proud to be a charter member of the Glenda Williamson Realty team.

I was born and raised in Decatur, Illinois. I joined the Air Force in 1975, where I spent the next twenty seven years seeing all 50 states and many other parts of the world. My wife and I, along with our youngest son, returned home in 2002. During my time away, I was able to gain over twenty years of leadership and management experience, as well as earn a Bachelor of Science degree from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale, and a Masters of Science degree from Chapman University (Orange, CA). Since my return home, I have been privileged to be an information technology instructor at Richland Community College. In 2006, Glenda Williamson provided me an exciting opportunity to join her team as a licensed partner, and become a part of the top customer-rated real estate company in our area. I look forward to helping you and the other members of our community in meeting all of your real estate needs.

A lifelong resident of Decatur, Illinois, my husband Lonnie and I have one daughter, Angela, a son-in-law, Cory, a granddaughter, Lacy, and, our bundle of joy, a great grandson Tristen.
